Ginger Kearns was born and raised in Canada. She wrote, produced and starred in the Instagram miniseries Welcome to Killjoy (EP:Questlove). As an actress, she has appeared in Broad City, Hungry Hearts, Boardwalk Empire and The Sopranos. Her scripts have been recognized by the Austin Film Festival, the Sundance Institute Episodic Program, and Coverfly’s The Red List. A longtime member of the cast of Sleep No More by Punchdrunk, she has starred in immersive theater productions around the world including the 2025 NYT hit Death Of Rasputin. She is a 2025 Tribeca X Chanel Through Her Lens Finalist and a 2013 NBC & The Pit Diversity Comedy Finalist. Ginger currently teaches in the On-Camera division at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy.
